NEET 2020 Latest News and Updates - In view of the hardships faced by the candidates while making changes in NEET 2020 application form, the authority has re-opened the correction window facility from April 1 to 14. Earlier, to massive Coronavirus (Covid-19), National Testing Agency on March 27, 2020 has postponed NEET 2020 examination which was earlier scheduled to be conducted on May 3. NEET 2020 admit card, which was also scheduled to be released on March 27, has also been postponed until the current Covid-19 situation gets better. NEET 2020 Latest News and Updates

The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW) has been seen doing a lot of major changes in the field of medicine. The official brochure had been released on December 1, 2019, with some latest changes which can be checked below. The last date to fill application form has been extended up to January 6, 2020. While the official website, ntaneet.nic.in was updated on November 30, 2019. One of the major NEET 2020 latest news by MoHFW is the scrapping of AIIMS MBBS and JIPMER MBBS from the year 2020, and the conduction of a single medical UG entrance test, i.e., NEET 2020. This is being done under the effect of the National Medical Commission Bill (NMC) introduced this year.

Following the trends of previous years, NEET for the year 2020 was also scheduled to be held on the first Sunday of May, i.e., May 3. However, due to the massive outbreak of Coronavirus, it has not been postponed until further notification. April 1, 2020- Due to the difficulties faced by the aspirants in making corrections in the NEET 2020 application form due to the COVID19 epidemic, NTA has re-opened the correction window facility from April 1 to 14.

March 27, 2020- NTA has postponed NEET 2020 examination as well as the release of the admit card of NEET 2020 till the due to the outbreak of Coronavirus. As per the official notice, NEET 2020 admit card will be released April 15, on the other hand, NEET 2020 exam has been postponed until further notice.

March 13, 2020- NTA has re-opened the facility of the NEET 2020 application form correction window for all the registered candidates. Jammu and Kashmir NEET 2020 aspirants can also avail the facility from ntaneet.nic.in.

February 17, 2020 - NTA has refunctioned its official website of NEET 2020. Till now no changes has been observed in the official NEET website. Any new changes will be notified on this page.

February 11, 2020 - The official website of NEET, i.e., ntaneet.nc.in has gone under maintenance. Candidates are advised to not panic and keep patience for it to start working again. Any change after the website starts working will be notified in the article above.

February 3, 2020- For already registered aspirants, NTA has re-opened the NEET application form till February 9. Registered candidates can complete the NEET 2020 application form within the due date.

January 31, 2020- NTA will re-opened the NEET application form 2020 processes from February 3 to 9 till 11:50 PM for the already registered applicants.

January 15, 2020- NTA has opened the NEET 2020 correction window on January 15, for students who have successfully registered. Aspirants can make changes in their application forms till January 31, 2020.

January 3, 2020 - The authorities have published notice regarding corrigendum in the State Medical Education and Directorates & Offices for the state of Tamil Nadu.

December 2, 2019 - The candidate login window for NEET UG 2020 has been opened. However, it has not been activated yet, due to unavailability of application form. NEET application form will be released on December 2, 2019, by 4:00 PM.

December 1, 2019 - NTA has released the official brochure of NEET 2020, with the major changes. As per NEET 2020 latest changes, a postcard size photograph and Class 10 passing certificate should also be uploaded while filling the application form. October 4, 2019 - Heretofore, AIIMS MBBS and JIPMER MBBS was being conducted by AIIMS, New Delhi and JIPMER, Puducherry respectively. As apprised by MoHFW in NEET latest news and updates 2020, the national level entrance examination will be single medical entrance exam for undergraduate courses in the country, thus, AIIMS MBBS and JIPMER MBBS have been scrapped henceforth.

What is NMC bill?

  • Medical professionals will be able to adopt the latest methods of medical research

  • The NMC bill will assure periodic evaluation of all the medical institutions
